Meet The ActiveIT UK Team
Chris Sewell
Chris is the founder of ActiveIT, started back in 1998, the same year as Google was born.
Originally an electronics design engineer, Chris moved into IT during the 1990s and became a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. He then spent several years “on the tools” himself, supporting clients all over the UK, before deciding to expand the business by taking a back seat and setting up a team of engineers to support the growing customer base. Now settled into the MD role, Chris keeps his eye on all the company’s activities, guiding and mentoring his trusted team.
Fun fact: Chris loves the outdoors; whether it is out on the water in his boat during the summer, mountain biking in the Forest of Dean or walking with his partner Tracey and their beloved dog Ted, he is happiest outside.
Manak Saleem
Manak is an Experienced IT Sales and Marketing Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the tech industry for almost 17 years. Proven expertise in Business Development, Sales Leadership, Key Account Management, Start-up Transformation, Strategy Execution, and Digital Marketing. Skilled in leveraging tech platforms like Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Dynamics 365 to drive sales targets and business growth.
Manak is a strategic thinker and a dynamic leader, has successfully led teams in start-ups and large corporations through transformation phases.
FUN FACT: Manak is a Photographer, Sketch Artist, Singer, Tech Enthusiast, Wood Worker and an Experienced Extreme Dune Buggy Driver.
John Bunday
John joined ActiveIT over ten years ago now and in his time has helped to not only support our clients but also implement new systems. With fifteen years of experience in the industry he has seen the the shift from dedicated on-site server systems to then helping to have them migrated in to the cloud.
FUN FACT: He was his own boss in his early IT days until he realised that wasn’t the right path for him and would rather be part of a team which lead him to joining ActiveIT.
